About 80% of us have been affected by acne at some time in our lives.
Both teenagers and adults can suffer. In fact, adult-onset acne is becoming increasingly common.
Acne scarring can be an unsightly reminder of having to deal with that condition.
It’s hard not to feel self-conscious if you've been left with visible scars – but that can change with a little help!
Today’s cosmetic treatments can now reduce – or in many cases, completely remove – acne scars and there are several options for treatment.
Dermaroller is the latest celebrity ‘secret weapon’ to treat acne scars and leave your skin bright, clear and bursting with youthful radiance. This treatment uses micro-medical skin-needling to roll away the imperfections and stimulate your own collagen to regenerate and repair your skin naturally.
Genuine Dermaroller Therapy offers amazing results without the inconvenient ‘down time’ that comes with more aggressive laser treatments and medium and deep chemical peels. And because it stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself without adding foreign substances to the body or taking anything away, Genuine Dermaroller Therapy is a natural process which has an excellent safety profile when used by trained medical aesthetic practitioners.

Dermaroller and Deep Hydration
A combination of Dermaroller™ and Restylane® Vital or Restylane® Vital Light is the ultimate combination of treatments to improve skin texture and elasticity and diminish the appearance of acne scars.
Whilst Restylane® Vital and Dermaroller™ skin needling each encourage the production of healthy new skin in their own right, used in combination they provide the ultimate skin rejuvenation treatment.
Dermaroller™ skin needling stimulates the production of new collagen. The sterile medical roller is covered in tiny micro needles to create miniscule pin point punctures in the skin. The body reacts to this injury by initiating the healing process, but usually it will only heal as far as it must to keep you healthy – which is different to healing to a cosmetic level. Consecutive skin needling sessions trick your body to continue the healing process and the production of collagen, improving the appearance of scars and enlarged pores.
But however good skin needling may be it cannot on its own give your skin the moisture boost it so often needs. Restylane® Vital and Restylane® Vital Light skinboosters are injectable hyaluronic acids that provides deep dermal hydration. By replenishing the skin’s own hyaluronic acid levels, the skin’s hydrobalance is restored resulting in increased smoothness, firmness and elasticity which enhances the skin’s light reflecting qualities restoring the skin’s glow and lustre.

Do you suffer from congested skin pores, blackheads, whiteheads, acne or mild acne scars?
Superficial chemical peels are used to improve the appearance of pigment changes in the skin, acne scars, mild sun damage, or fine wrinkles in all skin types. They can be done on the face and on other parts of the body. A superficial peel may also be used to prepare the skin for a deeper peel.
Superficial peels do not require anesthesia, and cause only slight discomfort afterwards. Most people can return to their normal activities immediately. The skin may turn pink, and usually only minimal peeling occurs. You can use makeup to hide any redness until it fades.
